One of the most beautiful songs I have ever heard!!!!!!!

I love this song! It really brings a sensible appeal to the subject matter and yet very musically appealing.

this song will just open your eyes. it's brilliant. i can't really explain it in words. like the person below said, it will move you. simply put.

This song is so much more than music. It moves me beyond words. My dad was a political prisoner for 3 years and my family has been prisoner to that experience for more than 20 years now. Sang for Aung San Suu Kyi but celebrating all political prisoners everywhere, this song is the ultimate tribute to the flower that was never allowed to bloom, the bird whose wings were clipped, the laugh whose sound was muffled...Damien and Lisa always sing beautifully to me. On this one, they beautifully sang FOR me.

The first time this came out was when I was in fifth grade(I'm in seventh) and after I heard this song I thought "Wow .I didn't think there was any problems in Burma". Actually I didn't even know Burma existed.So after I heard this I started to do research on Burma and now I really want to help. So I hope that from my review you will buy Unplayed piano and spread the word so that we can help this helpless country.

This is one of my favorite songs that i've ever heard, if not my absolute favorite. In a college English class that I took a year ago, my professor gave us a paper to write about a song. A few months before that, I had seen the video for this song, which iTunes used to offer, and when I saw the video, i started to read up and writing the paper for my class, I knew that there was no other song I would write about. I could have easily written about Springsteen cause we're from the same town and I know a lot about him, but this song was so much better with an amazing history. Before my professor gave me my paper back with the grade, he asked me if he could make copies of the paper to show future students because of the amazing story and to show his students exactly what he was looking for. I love Damien Rice!

this is absolutely amazing

I absolutely LOVE this song. It is great on cd and in concert. I think Damien and Lisa make the best duo, they really compliment each other's voices. Again great job!
