Complete talent! What a tight band! Alissa's vocals are simply amazing and bright! Her lyrics are creative and relatable. Such a fun indie record that I will definitely have on repeat!

i have been a fan of Alissa Beyer for a while and when i heard this new band project i was propelled into even more "fandom!" This album caught my ear right away with its driving guitars and hard hitting drum tones. Alissa's voice was made for this kind of music! i was also very impressed by the quality of songwriting that went into each song. There was no sense of Déjà vu when scanning from track to track! Each song drew me in and made me listen with new ears. This new "indie" rock album is a new staple for my iTunes library and makes me feel "edgy" and i just might have to go steel some hubcaps!!

When I listened to this for the 2nd time, (i was at the listening party), it took me back to some of the great stuff i've heard in the past. When music was MUSIC! (I'm 49) I've listened to it again, and again, (and again), and can't help but think of this album competing with the BIG BOY rock groups. You all did a great job and can't wait to hear more from you. KEEP IT ROCKING STEADY!

Alissa Beyer's ability to write lyrics is amazing! I love her voice! These songs really provoke emotion and the melodies are easy to remember while the words help me find my own strength inside. Thanks for an awesome album! I can relate to The Forty-Eight!

Definitely the summer rock album of the year! Genius guitar & bass lines, powerhouse vocals, and ridiculously quick drum fills. Really catchy songs but still rocks the total indie vibe. It's nice to finally hear songs with some meaning behind them as well... so many people now days default to gooey love mush. This band is ballsy and I love it.
