The drums on the 6th track are AMAZING then there are "Mo Drums" that will blow you away. No one but no one can be still listening to this band. Happy, uplifting even when signing about being down on your luck one can't resist feeling better after listening to Entrain. More musically astute than common Pop-music but not so complicated as to leave you wondering if you are capable of fully appreciating it, the sound is FUN and eminently enjoyable. not to mention if you ever hear bout Entrain playing within driving distance - go see them, you'll dance for a week after!

The album is filled with world rhythms that bring spirit and the legacy of many cultures, while being uniquely American. Scatter the Fire is a masterpiece of combined vocal and drums, with a dancing rhythm that no one could resist, even people with no sense of rhythm. River Run has a soulful Island sound with a bit of that Jamaican happy thing going on. Entrain is composed of a beautifully synthesized panoply of sounds, as if in the middle of a hub-bub in the marketplace of almost any country. Most important to their sound is the amaziing unparalled rhythm and percussion skills. They deserve widespread recognition and the world needs to hear more from Entrain. I admit to being a big fan!
