The Invisible Way

I find myself listening to "The Invisible Way" all the time, lately. For some reason, I am reminded of Cowboy Junkies" Trinity Sessions cd. Maybe it's the way the guitar sounds. At any rate, this is one of my favorite albums of the year, so far, and I am looking forward to experiencing more music from Low. Love "Just Make It Stop" and "Plastic Cup."
Superb....

... Definitely one of the albums of 2013 so far ... if not one of the great records of the past 3 - 5 years. Low have reached a new high. I hope they continue working with Jeff Tweedy, if this is the result. I find it hard to find a point on which to criticize this remarkable work. So I won't.

This is a fantastic record. Understated in that Low kind of way, but still very emotional. So Blue gives me chills, her voice is so pure tinged with melancholy. Listen to this one loud, quiet doesn't suit the edge of sadness that pervades the record.
Outstanding!

There isn't a clunker on here. The harmonies are, as usual, outstanding, with Mimi taking the lead on more songs than usual. Jeff Tweedy's production is understated and focused more on bringing out the genius that is Low. A really superb record.
I've only heard the previews.

And two songs in their entirety, So Blue and Just Make it Stop. But I can already tell that The Invisible Way will be an amazing album. There is some beautiful production on here, along with Low's trademark vocal harmonies.
