  • Okay....but not loving it

I'm a longtime devotee of Stevie's work so it killed me to not love this album. Annabelle Lee is my favorite song and she really didn't write all the words-Edgar Allen Poe did. I love the chorus and the music though. For What It's Worth was another good offering. Some of the other stuff just didn't fit IMHO.

I'm 59 years old. Except for hearing Fleetwood Mac on the radio I really didn't give Stevie Nicks much musical attention. That changed this year when my wife and I saw her on a vacation to Lake Tahoe. I mean we heard her. WOW! She is really something. I was figuring out what the names of the songs were that I wanted to hear again during the concert and typing them on my phone. My first two downloads were the haunting words of New Orleans and the too truthful words of Landslide. This lady can sing, and she is a real professional. So Stevie- ya got a new fan. Can't wait till you come to New Jersey ! Saxman

I love Stevie so much and this is one of her best works. It's dark, eerie, but all at the same time beautiful and sexy. Rock on Ancient Queen 💜💜💜

At this stage of her career, she is able to generate this wonderful collection of songs and stories. The songs are all so different. Collaboration with Dave Stewart really paid off. But Stevie Nicks is incredible. Great song-writing - probably her best total album effort.
  • Poetry from the heart

You won't find any immortal rock anthems like Edge of Seventeen or Stand Back on this album, instead you'll find genuine poetry from Stevie's heart. Through this album she shows her mastery of lyricism and poetry. Of course, Stevie's Rocker side shows up a few times also:) Keep them coming Stevie!

I just saw "In Your Dreams" the new documentary just released to ON DEMAND....The chemistry between Stevie & Dave Stewart who collaborated with her on the making of the album and the film is creative....touching and incendiary.

2 years later…. One of my favorites. This is a fantastic showcase of classic Stevie in the 21st century. A very timeless sound, great energy, beautiful ballads. On the flip side, the new Fleetwood Mac is major disappointment. Oh well. Happy to have this.
