I was expecting a lot more from Bosé for his new album. It is a good album but not what we all expected after several years waiting...
  • Bravo! Bosé!

Miguel Bosé! His music and artistry continue to amaze me. Velvetina is definitely among his best work!

Interesting Mr. Bose has come up with an "explicit" album? No big deal...I know only a few words of Spanish such as "senorita" and "banos." So it looks like I won't be offended. Offensive, perhaps but that's a whole different story. Tell you what -- I'll be listening to these cuts to see if he's come with anything as worthwhile as "New Tracks in the Dust/Que No Hay." Something tells me it won't be here.
  • Outstanding, staying one step ahead of the rest. As usual

Bose is back, after the mellow previous delivery where some romanticism kept us listening to a "retro album" (not bad, but not new), the eternal chameleon comes back to re-invent himself in Velvetina. Fantastic lyrics, ironies, metaphores and above all sounds and instrumentation that feel from a different era. I can't get enough of it, and keep discovering things every time I listen to it. If you are a fan of Bose, you'll love this one!!!
