After You've Gone

Mandy's story is amazing. I heard the story and her for the fist time at a youth worker conference. God has blessed her with a voice that is rich and penetrating, right to your jazzy core. "Every Time We Say Good-Bye" pulls my mind back into time. Back to a place where you could sit at a small table for two, sip on a dirty Martini, in a darkened room where even the cigarette smoke that fills the room-moves to the ebb and flow of the piano. And there under the single dim spot light on a small stage is a beautiful woman named Mandy, whose voice, like a slow moving river, carries the words and music into your ears, past your heart and finally to your soul. And it's there you wash away the day and just enjoy the moment.

Mandy Harvey has come into my class a few times now just to share about her experience and how she's dealt with everything she's been through, and she's so inspiring. Her msuic is so calming and beautiful. Some of her songs make me want to cry, not because of the lyrics, but because of her tone and how well it's being sang. If you're into jazz and listening to a wonderful singer, then this woman right here is the best there is! Thanks so much Mandy!
