James Otto isn't a bad singer, songwriter, fill in the blank, but he's got each of his songs as 1.29. I assume it's to make more money but it seems like he'd really make more money if he wasn't try to make .30 cents more per song. You know it's sucha cliche when you say that famous people are all about the money, but in this case I feel like it's true. Sad day Otto.

There's no denying the talent of James Otto amid the stumbles this month with contemporaries Zac Brown and Billy Currington. Instead of giving in to Nashville's cookie-cutter offerings he listened to his gut and did an album that's true to his style of country music. This is a great album of country soul similar to Ronnie Milsap, but with a refreshing modern take.

I bought the album after listening to the samples & thought it would be a nice addition to my library but it's quickly become a favorite. He's got a great soulful voice and every song turns into my favorite the more I listen.

I've been a James Otto fan for YEARS. I've seen him in concert (fantastic) and listened to his music on repeat countless times. However, other than..... two songs on this CD, I don't get what all these raving reviews are about. I'm seriously disappointed. The back up vocals on the Ronnie Milsap track? You will actually laugh. I'm not one to leave a scathing review, but this is seriously a waste of money. Download "Soldiers and Jesus" and "Groovy Little Summer Song" and save yourself the cash.
