I would have gave this 6 stars if I could. Got 2 c the DRots with bowling for soup in lubbock TX not 2 long ago and I don't normally "like" a band if I have never lesson 2 um b4. In other words as a musician u r gunna have 2 impress the sh!t out of me if I've never knew who u is. This is gunna sound dumb and if ya knew me u would most likely shake your head but the DRots had me at hello. :-) been 2 1,000,000 shows and I have 2 say that that show is in the top 10. Love the band they r grate and good ppl 2. So do something good for yourself 2 day and buy this album!

I cannot believe that someone actually said that The Sounds have been doing this for years and gave this less than 5 stars. The Dollyrots are nothing like The Sounds. Kelly's vocals are all-girl and all American while The Sounds are also good, they are nowhere near as consisent. The song writing styles are also totally different. The Dollyrots play the kind of catchy pop-punk that doesn't reach the masses until years later when everyone realizes these guys (and girl) are the stuff that legends are made of. Maybe when some huge band of the future cites The Dollyrots as their main inspiration. As long as Justin Beiber and "Pop" stars featuring some rapper of the day dominate the airwaves, it'll be tough for The Dollyrots to be as big as they deserve to be, but if ever a real poppy punk band had a shot, The Dollyrots do. After three great albums, they would be headlining stadiums in a perfect world.

i absolutely love the d-rots. they are amazing and everything they put out i end up falling in love with. the best songs on this album are "lets be in love"- i love the scream at the begininng and have tried to duplicate it several times without succes and "pour tour jour" which was very sweet and shows off kelly's vocals nicely. I really need to see them live! it would be life changing...

Success couldn't go to a better group of people. Kelly, Luis, and Chris are some of the nicest, down to earth people you'll ever meet. On the few occasions I've met them they were, well, Awesome. Congratulations on the new album! Here's to further continued success in following your dreams! Oh, yeah, this album pretty much rocks. Even though, and it's not a bad thing, started to lean a little more mainstream they haven't lost that independent feel and are still just a fun and exciting as ever. Cheers!

They have done it again. Kelly and the boys deliver great originals and bring new life to old covers. What a great band. Everyone should get this! And see them live!

  • Not my old D-Rots.

First of all I LOVE the D-Rots. I have been a fan since SFV "Kiss-or-Kill" nights and I will be a fan till the end of my days but.... The new album was not what I was expecting. Especially on the heals of the "California Beach Boy" and "Dumb" singles which were classic D-Rots all the way. The new stuff just seems to be lacking that turbo pop sound that was the original D-Rots. Maybe too much studio? While the original band can be heard in the new album, it is not "felt" the way it used to be. The album is well worth a purchase for any D-Rots fan and "Let's be in Love" gets a nod as an interesting twist but be ready for something that feels a little different. "California Beach Boy", "Bigmouth", "Let's be in Love" and "Happy Together" get a spot on my iPods tune rotation.
