I can listen to this album all the way through and feel like I'm reading a teenage diary. Lovely work. Lovely album.

I love this album all the way through but the song I come back to time and again is "Hummingbird" -- also "When you go away" and "Hard to please"

I discovered The Weepies a few months ago, and I'm so glad I did. I was having a bad day today, but then I started listening to Be My Thrill, and I started feeling way better. I love every single one of their songs on all of their albums, and that's not the case with any other artist I listen to. Fabulous music, very refreshing.
  • My favorite Weepies album so far!

They are so amazing. This album has more upbeat songs than their other three, and I love it! Although of course the others are great too.
  • Crystallized

This album is such a crystallizaiton to me. The songs are short and sweet for the most part, and I love it. The production is so well done, and this results in a beautiful SOUND on every track. The joy does show through, as another reviewer pointed out, and this new love makes for beautiful music. I love the hand percussion on the opening track, and I could listen to this album for days!!!
  • Love. Love.

Be My Thrill has become my new favorite album over the course of a few days. The single “Be My Thrill” is impossible to listen to without embarrassingly bopping your head around. The married duo is Deb Talan and Steve Tannen who have been writing songs together for almost a decade – which is no surprise after listening to thought provoking songs off this album like “Please Speak Well of Me.” The Weepies make folk appealing, even to a folk-critic. “How Do You Get High” combines folk with the attitude of ZZ Top. The album is unique and impossible to do justice to with words.
