A good friend of mine suggested I listen to this artist as we share a similar background (affiliation with Chicago, fluency in French, acquired taste for good music and good beverage). P. Jericho's sound is refreshing, as he creatively croons about a familiar habit of sorts. I can definitely relate to his story, yet his vocal range seems to take away my tidal wave of emotions and allows me to enjoy his story with a drink or two. His sound is like no other, but wised by R&B inspirations and crooners of times past. He even proports wanting to bring back a "Nat King Cole" sound. Whenever, however, I'm game to hear more. Obviously, help from the incomparable Tony Toni Toné should only aid his efforts. Between this song and his previous release, he has a wide range and could appeal to the genres between R&B and Jazz even. I suggest you put it on repeat, refresh your drink and relate. He's real.
