Just as the title states "FINALLY" Kris puts out a decent song.
It's definitely his best song out to date, but he still needs to do better.

This song doesn't show anything special. Just another boring song of his. This is the reason why Adam Lambert deserve to win more than Kris Allen. America use to had great taste of music since Kelly Clarkson won: Kelly deserve to win!! But now, Season 6 through 9, the idols that I voted for, got lost! =( This is unfair!!! Season 7, David Archuleta deserve to won than David Cook and Season 8, Adam Lambert deserve to win more than Kirs Allen.
And I'll not give a damn for listening to Kris Allen's boring song!! Kris doesn't deserve to win, Adam deserve to win more than Kris Allen!!!

This version isn't bad. I just don't think Pat Monahan adds that much to the song. Why listen to Monahan sing the bridge when you could hear Kris Allen's amazing voice throughout the entire song?
Maybe Kris just really wanted to work with Monahan - fine. But if he thinks he needs another popular artist on his track for people to listen to it, he's wrong. We love you, Kris!

This is a very beautiful song from Kris Allen. From a personal standpoint, I like this version of the Truth, a big part of that being that I'm a fan of Pat Monahan's gorgeous vocal skills. In the end though, it led me to look more into Kris Allen's music, so there's a chance that this song will lead more people to Kris' music too. Good job to both gentlemen.

I think this single isn't as good as "Live like we're Dying". Don't get me wrong, its a great song! I just think it sounds like his voice is a bit strained. I like his softer side of music, with a lot of heart.

Finally, Kris Allen with an original and emotional song. The lyrics are outstanding and the music just plays well throughout. And when you have Pat Monahan from Train in it, well that's icing on the cake! Cannot think of anyone better to do a duet with Kris Allen to be honest...
