I don’t rate many albums with five stars but without a doubt this one is five star all the way. There isn’t a filler song in the bunch, which is really hard to do these days. I didn’t catch on to this one until long after it came out (2012) but it hasn’t been far from my stereo since. It still gets regular rotation on a weekly sometimes daily basis.
“The Ladder” was the song that first drew me in, and it still holds as my favorite but “Static Waves” and “Oh my Stars” are very close behind. Other favorites to round out a top five are, “Open Your Eyes” and “Make it without You”, but they all standout in their own way.
If you’re still on the fence about this one don’t be, buy without reservation!
