...I believe that's enough said. Importantly to me, this was a body of work sans Trent Reznor. I knew how important Atticus was to the sound of NIN and Trent Reznor, but without a real body of work done solely by him, what's never been clear (to me) is the extent of his contributions to undoubtedly some of the greatest music in the genre. I leaped at this soundtrack having seen his name, alone. It certainly does not disappoint, and Atticus shows he is a great talent unto himself; more than just a collaborator. I very sincerely hope to hear more from him, but at a minimum, it's nice to gain some familiarity with his style and be able to hear his influences in collaborative works as a part of the greater whole.

The Music matches the setting so perfectly that it put me next to Eli in his journey. The song "Panoramic" is moving, peaceful and powerful. I listen to it usually right before I go snowboarding and it totally sets the mood. I truly think that this is one of those movies that will be just as striking and powerful as it was when it played in theaters.

The soundtrack seems to be missing one or two peices. One was played during Eli's fight with the hijackers, the other was played during his fight in the Orpheum bar. They are great pieces... Does anyone know where to find them?
This album is the definition of epic.
