Bright Nights * Dark Days

This album starts off great. Champagne is hard and awesome. You get the sense right away that there's really good instrumentals, slightly above average vocals and you can tell that these guys have decent rock sensibilities. It's not spectacular, but really good. The remind me a little of Nickelback or Hoobastank at their best. Also a little bit of Goo Goo Dolls and Foo Fighters. The album is front-loaded, however. Champagne is a solid 3 star song. Crash is a pretty good song and may also be 3 star quality. It's mostly downhill from there, however. It devolves into generic emo cheese rock. The further you delve into the album, the more filler you find. The lyrics are also occasionally weak and come off a little dumb. The softer and more emo songs are the weakest tracks. Most are weak and strong 2 star quality. The strong 2 star songs are keepers and the weak ones are throwaways. Overall, this album would be better with more hard songs like Champagne.

Cavo is kind of like the best possible version of what Nickelback could have been, but never was. That being said, it's still like Nickelback in that it tries to be a million times better than it actually is. These guys are pretty good, they just need to stop trying so hard. It's still better than like 90% of what passes for hard rock nowadays, but you'd be better off in the top 6 or 5 percents.

I love this band and this album. I can relate to some of the songs on this album. The music moves me and touches the soul. I would definitely buy this album.. I give it an 🅰➕❗😀

Saw this band when they were touring with Daughtry and Theory of a deadman. I remember that I was absolutely rockin out with them and I went and bought this album from the gift stand. It is an awsome album from an awsome band.

I went to Edgefest with my daughter a couple of weeks ago and they were one of a few bands I had never heard of before. We were there primarily to see Evanescence When they started I couldn't believe how talented they were and what great sound they had. It was also a bonus that they weren't shouting profanities like most of the bands that night. They were very professional and humble. We are now fans!

Normally, I don't even listen to this style of music. I'm more into Metal and Electronica than anything else. These guys performed as an opening act at a Daughtry concert I went to with my parents a few years ago, and they impressed me more than Daughtry did on stage. I really enjoyed the sound they had and the song Let it Go sounded even better Live than it does on the album, which is a rare trait not many artists have. From someone who doesn't remotely listen to anything like this, I say give it a shot if you aren't a fan already, you may enjoy what you hear.

CAVO has a unique sound. They are off the beaten path. I like their music, give them a try if you haven't done so.

Wow! I have been looking for a new good band to follow for almost a year and now I have. These guys are really good and I can't wait for the new album. Buy this!

I saw them open for Daughtry and they were great. They blew Theory of a Deadman away. Bought this album at the concert and it quickly became my favorite album of the year. For the life of me I cannot understand why they are not more popular. I see some if this crap Saturday Night Live has on and wonder why Cavo cannot get a shot. They would be an instant hit. Come on Lorne give them a chance.
