My Wife walked down the aisle to "Swing Life Away" by VSQ, I was blown away as she walked towards me that my favorite band was able to be part (even if in spirit) of my ceremony. Thank you, Vitamin String Quartet!!!!!!!!!!!!

Its fantastic indeed that hardcore rock can be put to this. Yet there is another group called rock a bye baby who did a green day tribute. Which sucked. These guys actually have talent... Way to go love it!

My friend told me about a string group that made covers of songs. I thought he said vitamin string quartet, so I looked it up and stumbled onto this album which so beautifully recreates the hard, punk rock that is Rise Against. I love the totally new feel it gives, and I really like Swing Life Away and Heaven Knows.

This is truly awesome. Rise Against's Chuck-Norris-learns-guitar isn't something I'd expect to hear on strings, but here you go. If I was Tim McIlrath, I would be crying with joy right now.

They did a good job. by no means is this BAD... it just seems like something I would say "oh hey, that's cool" and then forget about it. They don't really capture the raw, angry power that is punk, which Rise Against embodies. It sounds cool once, but I'm not gonna spend money on it. The 30 sec. iTunes samples were enough for me. "Swing Life Away" was probably the best one, though they made it sound like the background music from some fantasy adventure game rather than a home-sick love song.
  • Great Album(Like The Angel is the best)

The way that they can integrate the instruments into almost every place that Timothy McIlrath's voice usually is is just amazing. It turns every one of these songs into beauty... yes, even Give It All, wich has to be the hardest song of all of those in its origional form. Rock on, VSQ!
