  • High school never ends? Great.

I gave this album four stars because half the time i confuse High school never ends with 1985. I like this album though because it has a clean version of the song that wasn't messed up by Radio Disney. However i suggest this version of it for grades 8 and up only because... All in all when i'm not confused it a good song and i think it might be right. Oh no ;)

I love High School Never Ends. It's so TRUE, and that's what makes it funny.

I can't quite give it a 5 star rating. Something about the album... just keeps me from doing it. The songs are still as catchy as ever, but the comicness gets old. That's what keeps them from getting as big as they deserve. If they focused on the lyrics, they would probably be much bigger. Best song on the album, When We Die. Why? Cause it's an extremely serious song that kicks some serious tail! Second best song, High School Never Ends. Why? Cause it's got a great tune, and does include some laughs, but that's not the main focus! These guys have some serious potential, and they ALMOST live up to it. But, it's songs like "Friends Like You" that keep them from getting there. In the end however is it worth a buy? I'd say overall yes, it's a catchy album that is INFACT in the end worth the ten dollars. :)

This definitely isn't the best Bowling for Soup album which is kind of dissapointing but BFS still has a couple of strong hits. My favorites were high school never ends, I'm Gay, When We Die, and actually the first 5 minutes of If You Come Back to Me (on the actual album the song is something like 20 minutes). Also i'd like to add that BFS didn't have a different version of "belgium" on this album which was kind of sad

I am a new Bowling for Soup fan, thanks to this album! 'The Great Burrito Extortion Case' seems to have a reacurring story to me. A relationship that really should work, but as many times as it's been revisited, it just doesn't. Here's the main thing I LOVE about Bowling for Soup. Some songs, such as 'High School Never Ends', 'Val Kilmer', 'I'm Gay', 'A Friendly Goodbye', 'Luckiest Loser', and '99 Biker Friends' leave you giggling 'Val Kilmer', 'I'm Gay' and a few leave you balling on the floor 'A Friendly Goodbye'. You know your obsessed when you start chanting 'Ain't that a bee with an itch, ain't that a mother trucker. You can go to h-e-double hockey sticks and f yourself, 'cause I'm flippin' gosh darn sick of all the s words you put me through. So FU!' during math class. Besides the funny songs, there are also songs that show a deeper side of Bowling for Soup, 'Why Don't I Miss You', 'When we Die', and 'If You Come Back to Me'. The song 'When we Die' actually stands out to me, because it helped me through a tough time. It has relatable lyrics that almost anyone can go along with. 'I know that we're gonna be fine, and the tattooed mistakes are gonna fade over time.' This song left me in tears, and it's probobly the most listened to song on my iPod. BfS is way under-rated, and a couple of their songs are pretty darn popular. This album is filled with songs you'll be humming for weeks, despite 'Much More Beautiful Person' which I want to like, but the weird voice he uses in the beginning creeps me out. It's well worth the ten dollars, and even more worth the nothing that you spend by renting it from your local library and downloading all the songs off of it for free. I cannot wait to get the other BfS albums on my iPod, and I hope to be at one of their concerts some day.

These songs are funny...especially I'm Gay. They put real meaning into the song that just make you want to smile and dance. (or thing like that...)
