I have a lot of albums by Los Lobos, but this is my all-time favorite, mostly because of the blistering guitar that permeates these tracks. On Mas y Mas, David Hidalgo shows he can hold his own with any other guitar hero. But the songwriting is also tight, and the entire collection presents a bluesy, rocking, awesome experience.

If you're going to buy one Los Lobos recording, this is the one in my opinion. Every track is fantastic. Superb production, fantastic writing with great playing. You can't go wrong.

Such a perfect combination of smooth and gritty. If all you know is "La Bamba" you've got big suprise coming. This album will take you on trips through your mind. Perfect blend of ultra modern and retro cool.
My dream concert would be Los Lobos and ZZ Top sharing the stage together, talk about bands just oooozing cool...........

This amazing collection of songs should not be overlooked, it drips with great guitar tones, amazing drumming lock it down tight. This collection shows how original and funky Los lobos really are. This changed everything for my love of this band! check out; "Mas y Mas", "Maricela", and "Life is Good" always makes me smile.
