I must admit that this is the first whole album i have "purchased" in a long time. I did so because she is true talent worthy of every cent. I also have to agree with Lachica84, Amie's music is perfect for driving and i must have played "Brand New" for a solid 20 minutes on my way to a customer. I wish she would release the "Disarm" cover she did, it was awesome! She has a unique vibe but also reminds me of Tori and Ani.

When I first listened to one of her songs, I thought, "Ugh no way!!!! What is up with that shakey voice?" But as I listened to her songs more and more, I actually grew to like the shakey aspect of her voice! It adds character and vulnerability to all the right places. Imperfection really works for her! You can also tell she really feels her lyrics! These songs were definitely something of her own creation, not songs her producers said, "Here. Sing this." I am very glad a certain someone recommended her on his myspace :)
