While I realize fully that there is not a great deal of versatility in his voice I also recognize that an artist's talent is not fully composed of his voice. He unlike other teen pop sensations writes his own music and plays his own instrument. I appreciate his songs in that they are very honest. Don't buy the songs if your looking for soaring vocals. Buy it if you appreciate the personal nature of the songs. Just my humble opinion:)

if you don't have something good to say, or constructive criticism you should not be posting on these reviews. you aren't helping anything, you are just fueling a fire. ryan is awesome. i'd like to hear anyone who said bad stuff about him...let's hear you sing. obviously he is in the music business because he rocks, and you are not because you don't deserve to be. so leave him alone. thanks and have a great holiday!

I thought Ryan Cabrara was talted with the acustic version of On the way Down, but the live version sounded messy. It was not sharp and clean it was muffled and not very good. That just shows he is just a recording artist.
  • I don't quite know what to think of this...

I agree with a lot of the reviews so far... He is a great studio musician... his vocals are amazing on CD, but, man, he goes flat and sharp A LOT on this live EP. Being a musician myself, I am very understanding of live performances... it is very difficult to sing in tune all the time when you're playing live. My advice to you is to get his studio work... some of this can be quite painful to the trained ear.

Ryan Cabrera is not only talented but is an inspiration to muscians everywhere not only is he hot but he has a lot of talent. His first album was awesome and his 2nd followed in the 1st path. I was surprised to find out most of the songs on you stand watching were about the same person (cant imagine who that is) but that was a big part of his life and is understandable. Ne where u get inspiration from to write music, use it. I write music and I understand where he is coming from relationships are a big part of music because they are a big part of life RYAN CABRERA ROCKS, HE IS NUMBER 1!!!!!!! :) :)
