Excellent Rerecorded Versions of Vader’s Classics

By Metalwontdie
This album was my first introduction to Vader besides the title track to the ‘’The Art Of War EP’’ which by the way is an excellent song. Vader is one of the best Death metal bands I known and certainly one of the fastest and most talented Death Metal bands. XXV is a two disc compilation of rerecorded songs from their ‘’The Ultimate Incantation to The Beast’’ albums. I can that the rerecorded songs are better than the originals from The Ultimate Incantation but I can’t say anything for the rest of the rerecorded songs since I don’t own any of those albums. Overall this album is great and the production gives these songs more heaviness and power than the originals have. Best songs are Dark Age, Chaos, Silent Empire, Carnal, Kingdom, Wings, Myrocenia, and Tyrani Pickiel other great songs are Sothis, and Xeper. Recommended to fans of Vader and Death Metal.

And they always have and always will! XXV is an excellent compliation of the older work from them redone. All of this albums content is superb. The vocals are among DM's best, and the instrumental work is highly underrated. If you are a fan of Vader or DM in general, I suggest you buy this ASAP.

wow, this 2-disc re-recorded reissue is amazing. i was skeptical at first, but after i bought this, i can`t stop listening. BTW, you can go buy a physical copy of the cd for less than 20.00, rip-off.
this goes to show why Vader has been on top of the Death metal genre for so long, a lot of these songs are close to 20 years old and they are still HEAVY.yeah, they are re-recorded, but the riffs remain he same. some songs have keyboard in the background, very well done though. they add a creepy feeling to the songs and in no way overshadow the brutal death riffs and slaughtering drums. Daray is a much better drummer than doc (r.i.p.), i know some people might be mad, but he brings these together much better. Seth from Severe Torture does vocals on reborn in flames. long story short, if you are a long time fan or newcomer to vader, this kills.
death to false metal......

I have been waiting for an album like this to come out from Vader. They are one of my favorite polish bands next to Behemoth, Decapitated, and Vesania. I suggest you buy the whole album.

Vader is one of my favorite death metal bands and with this album you cant go wrong at all. The re-recorded versions of these songs sound ten times more extreme then the others. Definatly looking forward to them on the summer slaughter tour. Lets hope for another 25 years!
