A Lovely Way to Spend an Evening

This album was a surprise for me as I first heard Ms. Foti on the radio, loved her voice and did some investigating into her music. This album is wonderful and you won't regret downloading it. I've added this album to my desert island list...

What a find! What a happy surprise! This and her first album have secured this lovely woman a seat of honor in the pantheon of sublime lady jazz vocalists. Her gorgeous voice and delivery are truly spellbinding. She is at ease in the company of Gambarini, Kole, Milman, Donatelli, Ryan, Tierney, and almost any other jazz vocalist of this era. Her rendering of I Am Woman (You Are Man) is the erotically charged thing I think I've ever heard. Every man alive will want to hear her lilting and teasing voice breathing these lyrics into his ear...Right behind that selection is the steamy Do It Again, a mistressful (as opposed to masterful) rendition. Julie London could have studied under Ms. Foti. There is not one clunker in this entire spectacular album...we can only hope that this huge talent is soon, if not now, back in the studio. Get out the awards and trophies: this lady is a national treasure...

I was sorry that my wife was at work when I obtained this album and began to listen. However, she will receive the benefits of the impulses this stunning work initiated in me as soon as we can get cozy. Who needs certain expensive pharmaceutical products not covered by health plans when there's a reusable product such as this? Buy it!

I came upon Calabria Foti purely by accident, and what a welcome accident! Her voice is absolutely perfect- the best female jazz singer I've heard in a long time, not to mention the fresh and original musical arrangements. This gal will become a huge star... outstanding album.
