iTunes isn’t listing it, but this score was co-composed by John Powell. He and Harry Greyson-Williams collaborate a lot, and their scores are consistently amazing.
This is a really solid, creative, soundtrack. I love the Great Escape influence, along with the harmonicas and kazoos. The jazz is also really nice. :)
Underrated and Ingenious Score

Gregson-Williams, who is far more famous for recent cinematic epics like Narnia, Kingdom of Heaven, Shrek, Wolverine, and Prince of Persia, quietly added this brilliant score to the annals of film music back in the 90s. Unfortunately this score doesn’t receive half of the credit it deserves. A brilliant claymation movie, Chicken Run maintains its quirky humor and flair while feeling very exciting and intense. Williams’ score is no less amazing. Using kazoos, flutes, and muted trumpets to maintain the fun but peppering the splendor with powerful brass, march-like percussion, and some really upbeat themes, Chicken Run’s score will get your heart racing. It all builds to the last four songs, Building the Crate, The Chickens are Revolting, Lift Off, and Escape to Paradise. The orchestration is deep and clever, the melodies move, and the instruments paint pictures in your mind. The Chickens Are Revolting makes me want to get up and cheer. Unlike so much generic heroism that slathers modern cartoon scores in the cliche, Gregson-William’s score is original and dynamic. One of my favorites of all time,

While the soundtrack itself is beautiful, I must ask why it is not available for a full album download? It's a waste of time and money to download each song individually. Please, I-Tunes, allow for a full album download!

I had no idea that Harry Gregson-Williams did the soundtrack for this movie. I haven't seen it in a while and now feel like watching it to pay more attention to music. The man is a great composer and all his works have a deep impact on whatever production he is working on. Whether it's more stuff for the Metal gear Solid series or some serious epic scoring for Chronicles of narnia, all his works have made excellent moments in the film and game industry.
