Music and lyrics are fantastic, but the message is even better. Bravo.

One of the best Iranian bands I've seen. Song lyrics are awesome and they're actually meaningful, unlike other iranian bands. I really enjoyed listening to their songs and recommend this album.

It is wicked; wicked good, I mean. I learned about this group through the youTube videos of Eshghe Sorat and bought and listened to both of their albums at the same time. After a while, I have to confess that I believe that while this album is more polished, their first album (Ordinary Man) is more creative and takes more chances (as you expect from a "first album"). Nonetheless, the lyrics, the concepts, and the choice of subject matter resonate really well for somebody who has spent some time in post-revolution Iran, listening to Dire Straights, Leonard Cohen, Chris De Burgh, and of course the grand masters: Pink Ployd. Musically speaking, there is not much new here. This is not to say that it is not appealing to the ear, but there is a whole lot of power cords used. Despite this, I gave it a five star, because it is truly an infection point in the modern music and its almost flawless lyrics.

The first Album I thought OK, new band, first album ( I have to say it was GREAT album ) and they can't top that. But voila, here comes ESHGHE SORAT, GOOD music, PERFECT lyrics in farci.

One of the best albums I've bought this year. The music is terrific even if you don't understand the lyrics. If you understand the lyrics, then it is phenomenal political poetry. A much needed and accurate articulation of the experience of growing up in the Islamic Republic of Iran. Hard to believe it's taken 29 years for someone to say it like these guys do. Nicely done.

It is a shame there is no way to translate these lyrics to truley give the writer the credit he desreves. Pherhaps the most original work since the Cure. I never write reviews. This album deserves an award. Absolute Gem!
