One of the very first records I ever purchased that I listened to everyday for months. Not a single bad song. Like there is a "bad" Black n Blue song. Just listen to beginning of Heat it Up, Burn it Out on a boomin stereo.

This was Black 'n Blue's make or break album. They needed this album to sell big or their career was over. Unfortunately, that didn't happen. Even Black 'n Blue fans don';t seem to like this album too much. But I personally love this album almost as much as their first 2. The sound seems a little bit different on this album, but the songs rock, and that's what matters. Highlights include the delightfully addictive "Sight For Sore Eyes," the live favorite "heat it up! Burn it Out!" The pure rocker "The Snake" which has one of the best guitar riffs ever written, and 'get Wise to the Rise" which has some very humorous lyrics.

  • 80's CLASSIC ROCK...CLASSIC!

This is one of the best 80's Rock albums of all time , Great melodie's , Arena type choruses. Jaime St. James has great melody and charisma in his vocals (He is now the vocalist for Warrant , check out Warrant's new album "Born Again") , Jaime is very reminicent to Jani Lane's vocal approach.....Also guitarist Tommy Thayer is now the guitar player for Rock 'N Roll Legends KISS (also note Gene Simmons produced "In Heat") , I have no idea why this band wasn't one of the biggest 80's rock bands , There songs were so catchy and raido friendly......This album is a classic with no filler songs , every song on this album is classic with great melody!........Fans of Motley Crue , KISS , Warrant , & Poison , if you have never heard of Black N' Blue I urge you to buy this album , or any of there other albums all Black N' Blue's album were instant rock classics!
