    It's true that Lester Young and Billie Holiday appeared, memorably, in the LIVE CBS broadcast "The Sound of Jazz", performing Billie's song "Fine and Mellow"; but for the soundtrack album of the song - from which this cd's cut is taken - Lester Young was too ill to participate and does not appear. So it's WRONG to promote this collection as a collaboration between the two artists on all the cuts. What's needed is a digital release of the splendid original BROADCAST soundtrack of "The Sound of Jazz"; Pumpkin Records released the broadcast version on LP many years ago, but even those copies are difficult to find. So - don't buy this version of "Fine and Mellow" and expect to hear Lester Young.

    I love Billie Holiday and did a report on her in 3rd grade and Lester Young is awesome and i am doing a report on him in 6th grade. Them together is totally awesome. cooolest thing!!!!!!!!!!!! Hope you buy the album i definitely recomend it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
