  • Love Is REALLY Taking Time For Sure.....Especially On iTunes.

I've read here among these posts about the error in the iTunes store regarding this song and checked it out and verified it. As for myself I took the time to write to iTunes to tell them about the error. Told them that I, or rather "WE" have been waiting for that song forever now, and that there was some sort of mistake on this Rhino Hi-Five -EP, that when you went to preview track number 2 "Let There Be Music" what you actually heard was "Love Takes Time" the song we have been waiting for, for the longest. Interestingly this is the same case on the Orleans "Essentials" collection. The "Let There Be Music" track on there also when you preview it, you also hear "Love Takes Time" Now I told iTunes, since people have been waiting for this song, it's quite obvious that they DO have the song up on their servers, I mean the song you guys have been asking for IS HERE, common sense people, you have heard it for yourselves so you know that iTunes in fact DOES have that song. I've asked iTunes to #1 correct the error, and 2: since it's apparent that the song is indeed here, to put it up on their store. Know what their response was to me after the time I took to write them to explain this all? The man/lady who responded to me didn't even bother to acknowledge most of what I wrote, all he/she said was "please request music you would like on iTunes in the correct dept" That's it, didn't bother to acknowledge the error on it's store that when you go to preview "Let There Be Music" that you hear "Love Takes Time" instead and that if you go to download "Let There Be Music" you actually do wind up getting that song. They didn't mention a bit of this in their reply to me, no "thank you very much for the information, we'll see what we can do or fix it right away" God! Don't you just HATE that?! The big brushoff, any of you can tell that's what it was. This teaches you a couple of things hopefully, that firstly "Love Takes Time" IS on the iTunes store, or rather their servers, they DO have it, why they aren't putting it up is another thing. Secondly the reason it's not up here must be something of a secret cause if you read in between the lines in the response I got back from iTunes, it seems whatever cards they are holding they are keeping close to their vest, meaning that they damn well know the reasons why the song isn't as yet on here, and they don't care to share that with you. Apple/iTunes is a very secretive company my friends, their decisions or reasons for doing things they keep to themselves and have no intention of explaining anything to any of of us. The reply I got illustrates that, but at least you do know the song you've long desired is here, even though that's little comfort and so is my expierence with trying to talk to iTunes. Oh well. I apologize for the very long winded review/response and if you read what I had to say, all of it, I appreciate the time you took to read this all, but I thought you fair people deserved to know what was going on. Peace everyone.

.."I Hope That You Are Willing!"..Superlative "High Harmony" vocals; Inspired arrangements & Just enough "Funky Fretwork" to be called "Rock!" Yeah; That was the great band Orleans! {Brings back fond memories of being a Summer Camp Counselor up to Lake George; New York!} Perfectly Played; Performed & Produced "Power Pop!"; What more can a " Classic Rock Radio Fan" ask for? (Thanks; Rhino Records; For yet another "Hi-Five" Collection!) Add this to the growing list of another "Sweet Seventies Set!"-"What I Need!"...by Grimmbo.

When I previewed Let There Be Music I was pleased to hear that the song playing was Love Takes Time, so I thought it was mislabled on accident. However, after I purchased the song it actually was Let There Be Music. iTunes fix your error! I didn't want Let There Be Music but Love Takes Time.
