    Don't listen to what "Mike" says. The Bad Plus do an exelent version of "iron man" by taking a regular rock song and transforming it into a musically interesting, intense, and vibrant song. I like the album as a whole also, particularly the songs, "And here we test the powers of our observation", and "Do your sums/..."

    That Must be THE WORST cover of 'Iron Man' of this century these guys took a great rock song and killed it. SAVE YOUR MONEY!!!!

    i do not easily give 5 stars, but the bad plus is genuinely one of the most talented groups of musicians ever assembled. remember the classic question of which albums you would take with you to a deserted island? this one makes my list easily. ethan iverson is a genius at the piano and dave king's manic drumming keeps it at full groove the whole time. a fantastic showing of original charts and a version of iron man that you won't forget make for an excellent record.
