  • Timeless Album

This album is one of my absolute favorites of all time. It is a work of art, a continuous stream of music that explores different musical and auditory landscapes. Every track is killer and strong. Each member displays their musicality, technical ability, and enhance the song and each other. This is such a fresh sound that stands out amongst a sea of muzak heard on most mainstream stations. A breath of fresh air and proof that real music is still alive and well. I was blown away by the production and mix of this record- so many tasty licks and fills. If I hadn't seen them perform live I would have thought there was heavy drum sequencing happening, but make no mistake Darren King performs everything, he alone is enough to shatter your mind and blow you away! Everything about this album is an A+, it's a true album. From start to finish tracks fade into the next and collectively make a work of art and aural journey that touches the soul. The packaging is incredible and adds to the album. I can't rave enough about this band, especially this record: a true pinnacle in studio recording and music. Fantastic. Absolutely fantastic.

I saw them at the Patriot Center (Fairfax, VA ) as the opening opening act for Dave Matthews - never heard of them and usually the opening opening act is a waste of time - I was glad I arrived at the concert early - they were truly amazing. Lots of energy excellent sound - bought their CD and now one of my favorites. I would definitely see them again in the future.

I just saw these guys at a show. UNBELEIVEABLE. I've never seen - or heard - anything like it. It sounds totally lame, but I can't find the right words to describe them. Just listen...

So much like Copeland's involvement with the electric guitar and still holding their own style, MuteMath is a great band. All their songs are intriguing, and never disappointing.

Good album. But make sure you don't miss out on "Without It"! One of their greatest songs to me, and for some odd reason it was taken off on the second release. "Polite" was shorter, but also necessary for completists. Good song too.

I do not listen to the radio because I generally hear overproduced and synthesized ear-nasty with bubble-gum hooks that quickly retire to the vault of “ old music no one wants to hear.” In the last couple of years there have seemed to be less artists who truly inspire, however inspiration would be an understatement when referring to Mute Math. Their lyrics carry a simplicity, yet found in every word is a sense of importance. The elements of rock and jazz combined with the incredibly rich and fluent soundscapes convey a story engaging the listener to become involved. I love what these incredibly talented guys do, but through their music, I recognize that they do too.

Nothing like anything out there now. I heard about them on Mtv and they sounded awesome. I'm always up for new good music. These guys are awesome. I bought the album the first day it came out. The best songs are Typical, Chaos,Break the same, and You Are Mine. The live tracks are even better. Buy the album you won't be disappointed. My 2nd favorite band at the moment
