Reviews

  • It’s decent

Every song is listenable. Nothing really stands out though. Usually each album will have a few stands outs. But this album is missing it. My favorite songs include “Rip Pat Stay” and “I be Inna Zone.” But overall, this is album lacks a theme and a direction. He does slow it down so you can hear what he is saying. Which is pretty cool. But, it’s not Enough to elevate this album into a “great album.” Im literally trying to love this album, it just doesn’t do it for me. I thought the hooks/choruses on this project were subpar. Bizzy, Please get your bone brothers on a feature or two. Or perhaps some newer talent you want to showcase. Heck, perhaps some industry friends as well. Bring back Blais!

The tracks on this album are driven by clear vocals and hard hitting tracks. You don’t miss one word and the melodies and metaphors keep coming. You can hear the ease at which deep thoughts are being presented and the rhymes and rhythms always coming from a place that really challenges todays paradigms and cycles. It’s a front kick to the teeth to those that don’t understand how deep the man speaks. Definitely one for the ages and well worth the price and the time to sit and listen, you may just learn something about yourself or a situation you’re stuck in. A easy purchase for any Bizzy or BTNH fan.
  • Different Style, Same Sound

I’ll be the first to say, if you’re looking to the usual bone style, this may not be for you, but what it does accomplish is just as good! He brings that nostalgia, the old Bone disses we miss so much. He really comes in with some old school rap and tongue twisters. Def a must have for anyone Bone collection.
  • Lyrically refreshing

Love how each album is different! This one felt more mellow than his last upbeat one because it’s focus felt more about the lyrics verse the beat. You really have to have a good ear to catch all the metaphors and word play. Obviously rap is his domain and he expresses it well.

Bizzy is on a roll since New Waves ladies and gents. This record is a breath of fresh air for hip hop and music in general. Never afraid to speak the truth and touch subjects artist are afraid to address. Bizzy Bone does it again!
  • You Already Know, “Album of the year!”

It goes without saying …anything Bryon A Mccane “Bizzy Bone” touches, it obliterates the competition. His vocal complexity and Arrangements stand tall and above anything that exists in todays Hiphop culture musically. this Album (which I haven’t even heard yet) I can honestly say will outshine all comers and continue to cement his place as The Greatest Rapper Alive and recording today. But he is more than a Rapper and his music is more than a genre, he is a compelling singer, outstanding materialist with words, and technically the soundest musician left in a world of want to be clones… he is the front of the all five live originators Bone Thugs N Harmony and he alone “THE Gift” of what otherwise is a sad musical landscape. So pumped to hear what Tha Wastelands has to offer. Just finished the Album…. When I was 15-16 years old around 97-98 I heard Heavens Movie and it was a masterpiece. Number 8 on that album was a song called “On the Freeway” it is along with “Ain’t No Limit to Live ft Big B” are two tracks that I personally believe to be the greatest two songs I have ever had to pleasure to enjoy and listen to. I do believe number 18. “Everybody’s Finessing” is to that caliber of song. Literally one of the greatest songs I’ve ever had to privilege to vibe to. Just.. such melodic introspection and deliberate delivery, and finally a proper finish to the :58 second masterpiece “Yes Yes Y’all” ‘4.’ From Heavens Movie that everyone needed. So much respect for Mr Mccane as an artist and as the soundtrack to my life gladly. So many great songs on this project. Thank you for Another Gift of an Album!
