I originally bought this cd when it came out in '98. I've returned to this cd numerous times through out the years. Every song on the cd is very well produced; in fact it is the debut for DJ Jazzy Jeff and his production crew " A Touch of Jazz" and not Jill Scott's debut cd. I don't know why Kenny hasn't worked with them since, but I wish that he would. Highlights include the Donny Hathaway classic " I love you more than You'll ever know", " Trial Seperation." This cd is really for the fellas. It was made with deep feeling and emotion, something that we, men, try to hide. Purchase the cd...it is well worth it!!!!!!

By far one of the defining rhythm and blues albums of the late 20th century. Unlike so many failed and tepid efforts by corporatized, cookie-cutter quartets and trios, as a soloist, Lattimore offers an embodied work that resonates on several levels. The instrumental arrangements transcend mediocrity despite what the official reviewer deems as "mind-numbing conventionality." The album costs $9.99 but is worth more than a mint. I think "masterpiece" is the appropriate description.

If you are at all like me and listen to the emotion and feelings that an artist puts in their music then you will certainly feel this one. Fellas Kenny is putting it down for all of us. I know most of you guys would never admit it but we have all been through what he was going through when he wrote and recorded this one. Ladies you will feel it too. Check out "Days Like This", "If I Lose My Woman" and "I Love You More Than You'll Ever Know" this is a brotha that putting his heart out there, from the soul kinda soul. Feel me on this one. If you ever been in love and went through some things this is a cd you will Identify with. Peace, and Love.
