the best 20 minutes i’ve spent recently listening to this joy of an album! my favorite songs are the beginning and the end and the one in the middle! the way this album flows together & is brightened by the stringed instruments and held together by garrett’s vocals! truly a lovely listen! 5 stars!

I couldn’t have been more excited to have Børns back after such a long time away. I was fortunate enough to see him perform live in Michigan right before he disappeared, and I’ve been checking for updates from him ever since. I tried to temper my expectations for this album since it had been so long, but this is a big miss for me. None of the songs are catchy at all, and it’s a big step backwards from his previous albums. Hopefully it won’t be another five years until we more new music, but I feel like it can only get better from here.
