Recycle and less tracks

First things first - this band is unique and amazing. This review is just for this particular album.
I particularly like them because of the tales they tell in their songs.
1. Short album.
2. Doesn’t have same power as it’s others as far as meaning and verses.
3. Recycled lyrics from past albums.
4. Tons of lore / struggles faced in their target era, not yet told- I’d really like for them to dig deep and tell the untold stories. Their first albums were moving and really helped you understand if you were listening instead of hearing the album.
Looking forward to when they release the next album!
Epic tunes!

Seriously, I am not surprised it is perfect, they've been so good for so long, but it is amazing how the bass carries through the songs, and the voice is right there with it, and it just has a crushing sound that makes it sound bigger than a lot of metal these days would even attempt. They are in a class all their own when it comes to bass viking metal, they must be the best.
Very generic

Ever since after Jomsviking you’ve been going downhill. The songs are laughable and aside from a few that bring back some memories of Twilight of the Thunder God or Surtr Rising, I’ve completely lost interest.
Metal at its finest

Tell me a story in the most metal way possible! Amon Amarth doesn’t disappoint! Serpents trial is possibly my favorite song on the album, up there with my all time favs as well.

Every song on here has so much personality and stands out from the other songs. Where Berserker had a steady sound throughout this album feels like they put much more thought into each song. Incredible Amon Amarth album
Teetering dangerously close to pop rock

Guys. It’s been a good run. You’ve run out of original ideas and have jumped the shark. “A drink in our hand and a girl by our side?” C’mon. That’s lame. Please be done now. At least we still have With Oden On Our Side.
Viking metal at its best!!
