Literally the soundtrack makes my mind go wandering off somewhere that is part of The Batman. All the songs and ESPECIALLY Sonata in Darkness makes a huge part of the plot of the whole movie where Batman is not only a super hero, but he is a detective. Overall the movie is a splendid 10/10!

There are definitely traces of the tenderness and beauty of LOST in songs “The Batman” and especially “Sonata in Darkness”. The Batman is an ambitious film. It may go down as a cult classic, particularly if no sequel is produced.
Giacchino’s strings and piano scores young Bruce’s tenderness, while the brass captures Batman’s rage. The emotional poles are extreme, and as such the music presents not just the range of the composer but also the complexity and richness of its subject - Bruce Wayne - in this darker retelling of one of America’s most popular comic heroes.
I can’t say how or if the chaotic crescendos compare against Zimmer’s Joker in TDK, and the film seems stilted in ways that are obvious at first. And yet, in retrospect one wonders if Bruce is meant to be shows partially autistic or Asperger’s. Because what kind of a person could be obsessed like he is and not suffer some mental illness comorbidity?
In sum it’s a film for thought and the music is great.

Those same 4 notes in the theme are just too repetitious throughout this soundtrack. Other than that, it's great.
