Whether Scandinavian, Native American, African, or etc., the tribal influence is both grounding and transcending. The best moments in the music come when the composers rely primarily on the most ancient instrument, the human voice, in guttural rather than melodic ways. The primitive and medieval chanting in The Ultimate Boon and Aliit Orishya Taldin is also impressive. It all serves the narrative theme in The Book of Boba Fett, at least as I read it. Vocals joined by cured hide percussion and horns tell the story of taming the solo bounty hunter and forming him for civilized leadership. I like it.
  • Great soundtrack!
