Only one song off of arguably Mick's best solo release album "She's The Boss" well IMO it is by far his best solo album release and then does not even include possibly his best solo hit "Throwaway" so how is this called "The Very Best Of"?????

At some point in pop culture, more attention was paid to what The Stones wore, who they dated, what drugs and drink they enjoyed, how old they were getting and so on...But really, The Stones were put on this earth to make timeless music, collectively and as solo artists. Does Jagger’s solo work rate? Does his Greatest Hits REALLY deserve 5 stars? You bet. Here’s why... Firstly, Mick’s artistry reflects a vast diversity in musical styles. Yes, he loved the blues. Yes, he embodied the spirit of rock. But he has always been equally fascinated by gospel, R&B, disco, pop and of course, Country. And while at times Mick wears his influences on his sleeve, he’s so adept at blending all his influences that the end result is always engaging and always unique. “Memo From Turner” is the non Stones version with Ry Cooder burning it up on slide. The lyrics and sleazy groove ooze a funky street hustle vibe and is one of the finest songs he’s ever recorded. “Too Many Cooks” is a rare jem that features a cast of A list musicians and is an unstoppable freight train of soul, funk and attitude. In the immortal words of Ms. Aretha Franklin, it’s “Greasy”. Indeed! “Evening Gown” is another beautiful chapter in Jagger’s cannon of sad love songs. It’s right up there with “Angie”. Buy the whole album, because Jagger’s true artists is often not highlighted in the hit songs, but the songs that live in the cracks, where are all the good stuff hides. Enjoy it in good health. Rock On.
