It had been years, YEARS, since a new album was released, and I was going through the stages of grief, what if we didn’t another new album because he was too busy with international tv now? Then he released this magnificent piece of music and I cannot share how I love it. Every album has a new maturity, as they should, but maintain a delicious playfulness and they are so catchy, you will listen to the songs on repeat, absorbing them. I only hope we don’t have to wait so long for another album again, I don’t think my heart can take the long delay.

One of the best CD's of 2019. Not a bad song on the CD. Mika is truly a brilliant artist. WOW!!! OK. I've listened to thi sCD about 10 times today. Back to back to back. I was wrong.. this CD is not just outstanding... it's absolutely AMAZING! Definately my favorite Mike CD, but it's really one of the finest CD's I've heard in a long long time. I'm 59 years young and I can not stop moving to the melodies. I can't say enough good things about this CD. This CD is a fantastic trip of ups and downs, but every song is well written and the CD just flows from one song to the next. You MUST listen to the whole CD. Don't skip around, just take it all in. I'M SO HAPPY!!!!

Have been eagerly awaiting the release of this album, and it does NOT disappoint. Mika's sound has evolved, as others have said, and yet is still undeniably MIKA -- full of colorful melodies that range from joyfully soaring to quietly delicate. His lyrics are like his music: multi-layered, with deep subtexts that belie their often seeming sugary-sweetness. Can I choose a favorite from among this baker's dozen of gems? No. They are all too, too good. Tiny Love displays a Bohemian Rhapsody range of emotions and tempos, punctuated by a bit of Sgt. Pepper, while its reprise, with vocals by his mother and sister, is both hopeful and heartbreaking. Mika's tender and beautiful voice is showcased in the moving Paloma and the moody Blue. Sanremo conjures images of a sultry summer night at the seaside, while Platform Ballerinas is just plain funky fun. Then of course there's radio-ready standouts Ice Cream, Dear Jealousy and Tomorrow -- irrepressible earworms, and I mean that in the best possible way. The whole album seems intensely personal and evokes such a range of emotions as you listen -- and as you FEEL it. And isn't that what good music supposed to do? Make you feel? I highly recommend this album, whether you're a longtime Mika fan (and there aren't enough of those) or someone who is looking for something fresh and fun and absolutely fabulous.

Absolutely love this album. His sound is unique and very different from what’s on the radio. I can just listen to most of the songs on repeat!

I am so pleasantly surprised at how good Mika’s new sound is. It really shows his growth and is just as good as every other era he has had.
