Very cool and a nice stark comparison to the original album. For some reason there’s a glitch of this download and won’t play on my phone anymore and not won’t let me redownload or repurpose. iTunes Apple customer service help?

This is a perfect example of what bad production can do to good songs. Presumably, the songs on Masseduction started like this. Then they were turned into cliches by bad production. Apparently, Annie Clark realized something was left on the table when the album came out, and thus the release of MassEducation, a far superior, far more interesting realization of her songwriting. (But let's not pretend this is a reconsideration. Almost all songs start out this way and then get developed in more complex ways.)

I hope St Vincent reads my review: you rock thanks for this album it makes so much sense this is artistic vision and creative courage. This is why you’re a musician. These songs were practically begging for this treatment.

I have to say this album is perfect. I loved MASSEDUCTION and the piano versions of these songs are just so raw and emotional. If you are a fan of St. Vincent you have to get this album. Enjoy!
