Strip It Down

Music fan for years and this artist really struck a chord. no pun intended. OK maybe a little. This guy deserves your attention. Great lyrics and band. Hope he continues to make great music for years to come.

Strip it all Down is my favorite new song! He makes you feel the music - every lyric, every note, every guitar chord. Real connection. I wish Living Room would have made the album because I heard it live and it was raw and heartfelt. But whatever he puts his heart and passion into resonates. Great album! Love every minute of it!

This cd is everything Casey has ever dreamed of. It's exactly the music he wanted to record even before he was ever discovered on American Idol. This music is Casey a James. He has so many wonderful songs in his library that I'm praying he'll put on his next album. When listening to this cd I can hear every happy smile and feel every sad day. This is as real as it gets.

A blue eyed rock and soul singer delivering meaningful lyrics for all to hear, this IS Casey's heart and soul!!. This is 'his music' his way, music that I love and will listen to over and over and over again. He couldn't have made a better record. Tom and the wonderful musicians assembled helped completed this vision and I for one, thank-you thank-you. Well done Casey!! Always in awe of your amazing electric blues guitar. This is an amazing record and seeing you play live is even better.

This work is stellar from the writing of the lyrics, music and all. Great material, produced and executed with exceptionally talented players. Vocally Casey has never been so naturally dead on. Naturally soulful...effortless and inspiring. His guitar prowess is heartfelt. Not showy or orchestrated. His fingers play what his heart feels. Bottom line? This music is good for the soul. This may be his first Americana/Blues album but he is obviously NOT a novice in this genre.

Even Better. Thankful that he made this album. Saw Casey live a few years ago and you saw and heard where he really wanted to be. Playing the Blues. Just seen Casey on May 31st in Phoenix and what an awesome set. Now have "Strip it Down" and play the album everyday. Buy it and then go see Casey James "LIVE!"

Finally, the album we've been waiting for! Casey's roots as a blues guitarist shine brightly on Strip It Down. Every note comes from his heart and soul. He's being himself & he sounds amazing doing it! I could definitely see him on the road with Buddy Guy or The Tedeschi Trucks Band!
