As a long time fan of this band I admit to being a little disappointed the first time I tried this album. It was just a little to Pop for my taste. After giving it some time (which is something you should give to any artist with a track record as strong as this band) I realized I was out of touch on this one. What this album represents is a group of guys working to stay relevant (current) but still be true to who they are. The amount of stylistic diversity on this album has become a strength for me. The lyrics are well written and God Centered and the music is uncluttered and well produced...what more could you ask for? For what it's worth, if you don't think they rock anymore, look up "Impossible" on Live from Studio B on youtube...they CRUSH it!

Building 429 keeps getting better and better. I feel use 'Listen to the Sound' was the start of them inventing who they wanted to be.
Jason, Michael, Jesse and Aaron obviously are performing for God and not man, thus continued success. While they deserve much more attention by Christian music industry, awards, mainstream, etc they remain humble! This is not you Tomlin music, this is rock! Awesome album! Eat Mor Chikin

Every song on this album represents the rut that popular Christian music has been stuck in for the past 15 years. These bands need to switch things up a little bit. Even the title “Unashamed” is ridiculously unoriginal.

Building 429 just gets better with each album they produce and they have done it again!! Every song relates to something in my life and I am overwhelmed at the depth of lyrics and
musically sound arrangements!! This is definitely a winner!! Great job guys and thank you for allowing God to use you to spread His message of love and hope to this broken world!!!

I think what this record shows is that these guys are great musicians AND they love the Lord. There are some songs in here that are really impressive musically, like Eyes Up, Impossible, and Hearts Collide. Then they have some awesome inspiring songs like Ocean Deep, Unashamed, and Stronger. I seriously think these guys are one of the best groups playing today, and this album proves that point. Love you guys, and so happy that you continue to live for Jesus!!
