To Lol….apparently you do not nothing about Jean-Michel Jarre. Please investigate his previous works in the 70`s and 80`s. I understand this work is not his best for sure but he is one of the fathers of electronic music….Muarice??? come one how old are you???
  • Exceeded my Expectations, Great Album

Ok, so the tracks with songs are a rarity on JMJ albums, but the song with Moby Suns Have Gone is great, regarding the Instrumentals I loved the Automatic Pt2 with Vince Clarke of Erasure, Depeche, etc, Also loved the one with John Carpenter a Question of Blood, probably the best track on the album, it has many reminiscences of Equinoxe and O2. Now I saved my last review, regarding Zero Gravity with Tangerine Dream I was expecting an out of this world track, it is good, don’t get me wrong, but I just was expecting something else. Recommended not only to hard core fans, but to everyone

This is indeed a Time Machine for JMJ. Everything you love about the classics yet updated for 2015. Love the collaborations with rising (and vintage i.e. Townshend) artists. Welcome back to the future JMJ. I can’t wait for Part 2...

Jean Michel has produced a lot of stuff over the years - about 19 lp's worth but this collaboration is up there with the best of them. Sonically - it is superb as you would expect, but it's also wonderfully creating and pretty out there - Lang Lang on piano with electronic accompaniment shouldn't work but it does - just like everything else on here. I was ready to hate it, but this definitely ranks among JMJ's very best.

...with the younger crowd. How could you NOT appreciate that? He allows samples of his old stuff and explore with the new guys... This isn't supposed to be groundbreaking, it's supposed to be celebratory, and with top A Grade quality talent. This delivers!
  • A good collection

I was a bit nervous about this album since JMJ has not been releasing albums in quite a while. But it really is a very enjoyable album. He partnered with some of the influential and thoughtful musicians of our time (3D, M83, Little Boots and Moby are my favorites among the lot) and explored how their collective soundscape could be integrated into the JMJ world. And I say they integrate beautifully. Much of his personality is coming through but intertwined with the partnership mentality. Together, they do offer a fresh and refreshing sound. I thoroughly enjoy this recurring and look forward to the next installment(s).

Let me laugh! This guy had the choice between the name of his dad,(Maurice), and the talent of his dad. Too bad. He got the name!

It’s good. It didn’t send me over the moon or anything. I would play this when I’m working or studying. It’s great to see hear the names of the collaborators. The music is good to get lost in. I have no idea what the ‘reviewer’ named ‘DorothyAnn11’ is talking about. His/her review always seems like it’s trying to hard to be clever.
  • Good stuff, but prefer the instrumentals over the vocal tracks

Very good stuff in the early release tracks; thank you so much for continuing to be such an influential creator. Not trying to be a purist, but I actually prefer the instrumental tracks, such as "Stardust" over the tracks that include vocals. Can't wait for the full release soon!
  • Fascinating!

A very eclectic & amazing album with cool collaborations. So far, so good... the songs released demonstrate a wide range of music from haunting, all-instrumental to pop-referential, vocal-driven songs. I personally prefer the instrumentals, but the lyrical pieces are fun too. An enjoyable effort and worth buying.
