I still listen to "The Rising Tied" album and, although I'm late to finding this track, I'm so glad that I found it. I hope to hear more from Fort Minor at some point.

Fort Minor is one of the best hip-hop/rap artist ever. His songs make sense and all have a distinct sound unlike the new rap crap that all sounds the same. When I hear a Fort Minor song I know it's Fort Minor and I absolutely love it. I wish he'd do another album.
  • Love the new song

I've been waiting forever for this moment. Your music has helped me out of a lot of bad situations in life and I'm really grateful for that, so thank you Mike. Your by far the most talented rapper I've heard. Keep rapping bro, your fans (including me) need it.

Loved their "rising tide" album when it came out, I remember listening to it for days on my CD player! Now it's 2016, I just found this song and I'm in love. His lyrics are so meaningful, the way I perceive his song meaning is: the meaning of this song is impeccable. He speaks of how he takes a road other than the road of fame and fortune, and how difficult it was to look past the money and fortune. But the road he chose was his passion for music and that's why he is doing what he does; because of this it doesn't matter who hates him. Because in the end he was never welcomed, Yet I find his music a lot more inspiring and touching than Mainstream artists like Jay z and Kanye.
  • Mike Shinoda has declined TREMENDOUSLY

I noticed this in Linkin Park's recent music too. His rap/hip hop style has changed from what it used to be and NOT for the better. I think the reason being is that back in the day, both Fort Minor and Linkin Park were fueled by being the guys in the industry that were kicked to the curb. The guys who lived in the underground and had heavy inspiration from their personal lives. Now it's just like "what sounds good to people that I can infuse with some cryptic message and maybe do some singing here and there." I will forever blame Rick Rubin for both bands' decline. Screw Shinoda singing. His rapping sounds a lot more like a mainstream Jay-Z style. And yes I'm aware he worked with Jay-Z a while back. Terrible song.
