Reviews

  • Good Hank material from the good old days

One of my favorite Hank productions. I love his cover of various acts like Skynyrd and ZZ Top as well. My favorite song is one that was never released...Twodot Montana. I once visited Montana and played this song, along with Montana Cafe, all over the place. The cut with Ernest Tubb on Leave Them Boys Alone (the last recording he made before his death) is fantastic.

One of Hank's best albums ever recorded. It's right up there with Habit's Old And New, Whiskey Bent And Hell Bound, and The New South. All 5 star albums to a true Hank fan. So if your like me and have a tendency to act out the music you listen to, then this album is definitely one for you.

Which came 1st: the Hank La Grange, or the ZZ Top La Grange? Whatever, the song is o.k., so is the album.
