If only tim still used steel guitar and a fiddle. I grew up listening to old tim, and it's so much better than his new crap.
Tim use to be country!

And this album is great....can't figure out why it failed. I don't see how this is so much different than alot of other country music out in the early 90's.
Would be a top seller....

I believe that if Tim went back and recorded these songs today without his twang; it would sell big. Most of these songs are classics, but were not the "hip" thing in country at it's time of release. Plus anything with Tim McGraw's name on it would sell (i.e. 3 greatest hits packages with a fourth on the way, cologne, merchandise, movies, and so on).
Tim McGraw used to play country?!

I had no idea!
Seriously, though, when this came it out, country didn't get much more pop-ish. If this were to come out in today's "country" catalog, it would be it would be one of the more traditional sounding country albums, by contrast.
AWSOME !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:)
