You can keep your Harvest Moon and the rest of that sensitive hey, hey my, my garbage. This is his best album. If you don't think so, you're either too old or too stupid.

Great Crazy Horse album. My favorites being Love and Only Love and F*!#!n' Up. One problem though... I purchased the complete album, but for some unknown reason, Farmer John downloaded, but Itunes doesn't let it play. It says I need to authorize my Itunes to play it. Every other song works but that one.
  • It doesn't stop pleasing - so it must be classic...

The third Neil Young album I bought, at age 18 (as a cassette tape). Wore that cassette right out. Never stopped cueing this one up. In 1990, NO ONE played like this in popular music. I thought eight-and-ten-minute songs were incredibly lengthy jams in 1990. Then NY&CH release Psychedelic Pill in 2012, opening with a 27-plus-minute jam and including two (!) other jams that clock in at more than 16 minutes. Still, no one plays like this in popular music...sure, they may approach the length but they can't replicate the repetition-without-monotony of NY&CH...

This is the last great Neil Young album in my opinion. Every song with the exception of Mother Earth, is very good to great. Mother Earth is so bad I am giving it 4 stars. click buy because Love to Burn is a meandering great song. If you want to sample a couple of Songs F###ckin Up and Days that Used to Be are my personal favorites. Enjoy!

Yep, Neil Young at his rockin' best... I love this record, too... I see that the reviewer neglected to mention F*!#in' up... huh... guess he didn't wanna touch that one... lol... actually, since he missed it, I'll mention that that song spoke to me once, as an anthem of frustration... real art! You may not identify, but I did! If it composed the whole record, I'd um be worried... but no... he's not wallowing, here... the rest of the record speaks to optimism and love in a pre-grunge era... It just feels like home. ...and I love the album cover. Classic, I think...

A great album that gets away from Neil Young acoustic that I can get tired of hearing all the time. Crazy Horse is a great backing band for Neil, the next album Mirrorball is really good too.

Guitar, distortion, and great songs - every one. Since it came out, this is my all time favorite Neil album and I have dozens. Get it and rock on out.
