If you’re a fan of Sufjan Stevens, you likely will not appreciate this album. It is weird instrumental electronic stuff and it doesn’t sound like his other work at all…..
Wow lol

This album sorta reminded me of something by Radiohead, most likely Kid A or Amnesiac.
Just from all the random electronic bleeps and noises and stuff like that. Sweet album though!
A Marvel!

For anyone with a true understanding of what music is capable of, know that Sufjan has pushed and harnessed these boundaries. As a music major at the University of Utah, I would say this is one of the single most creative and well versed albums of our day. Sufjan has bridged the gap between atonal and modern popular electronic music. So fresh, and so accomplished. Thank you Sufjan for sharing your brilliant intellect with us.

I love Sufjan Stevens and think he is a modern composer genuis. Though this CD is not like his others that are more popular, I love it. He really takes modern music to a whole new level and opens up the musical mind. I love to see that a popular musician, like Stevens, would incorporate modern classical music techniques into his compositions. I am studying music at an University as my major and I give Sufjan an A+ for his earlier music like this album. Enjoy.
It's really good.

This music is not Sufjan's best work, nor is it even listenable. Please avoid this CD.
I hate this album.

It is so very un-Sufjan. I can't stand the dissonance and the endlessness of the clash-y sounds. Sorry, but this is not Stevens' best work.
