My take on Nick Lachey is that he is a washed up boy-band star of the late 90's trying to regain his fame and popularity by keeping up with today's sound. I admit that he as a great voice, but I really don't think that this song does it justice. He is more suited for slow, romantic and meaningful songs that he writes himself, or at least co-writes. My personal favorites are My Everything, Where You Are, This I Swear, You're the Only Place and Resolution. While this type of music doesn't sell millions, its what best fits his voice.

Taking a great song to the butcher

Go listen to Take That's version and then this, and you will understand why I rated it so low. An okay artist can't take a great song from an awesome band and try to make it better for their own benefit. This song was butchered big time!
I think it's awesome

some guys said that it's not that great but I liked it better than Take That's... maybe because i don't know anything about take that, but anyway his voice is absolutely wonderful... no reason to criticize
This resung is rubbish.

He ruins the song. This song is originally from a British band, Take That. Gary Barlow sings excellent. Nick Lachey is rubbish in this song. BTW, if you don't know Take That... well that's where Robbie Williams from.

Jessica Simpson was an idiot for losing this guy. If I had a guy who put himself out there like this. Wow. She's a fool.
Best Cover of the Original

The original version, a softer pop ballad by my favorite European band, Take That, will always be the best one out there. However, Nick's version is very good, with thick harmonies and a performance that stays very true to its source. Worth the $.99 ^^
