Do I really need to say why it’s 5 stars.
In case you’re wondering, it’s bc it’s one of the greatest metal albums. Painkiller, Leather rebel, and a touch of evil are my favs. Fantastic stuff.
Okay but not great

I don’t love this album as much as other Judas Priest fans but I do love some of the songs on it. It was definitely better than Ram It Down....then again, anything was until the blood metal of Jugulator. My favorite songs are on the second half of the album, Night Crawler, Between The Hammer and The Anvil and A Touch Of Evil. Gotta say, I have never been a fan of Scott Travis’s drumming style. Overall, not a bad album, but for me, not a great one either.
Puzzy wrecker.

One of the great metal records of all time. Incredible. Halford was in top form here. After this record they broke up. I can see why. They left everything they had on he studio. This is as raw as this band ever got. Beautiful and punishing.
Re-invented their sound

A killer no filler album, but my top five songs are: Between the Hammer and the Anvil, Leather Rebel, Night Crawler, Metal Madness, and Hell Patrol. This album is a must-have for any heavy metal or Judas Priest fan.
