Am I the only one who thinks this is one of the best all around albums ever made?! Every song offers something unique and i love every song in its own way. If at first you don't like it all, give it a few listens, i promise it grows on you like no other. Great Stuff, BUY.

All I can say is wow, this album is absolutely incredible... in my opinion this is good charlottes best album. The lyrics and nature of the songs make it a very dark and emotional album, but I love it.. I can relate to the songs and some songs (such as mountain and in this world) actually have made me cry. My favorite songs would have to be mountain (my favorite good Charlotte song ever), in this world, ghost of you, and chronicles of life and death. Thank you so much for making this amazing album, good Charlotte, and hopefully cardiology will be great too (although not looking so good after hearing the single)
  • went downhill

I dont know what happened here. Their first 2 albums were freakin awesome, true punk rock while on this one they just sold out completly (though not as badly as their latest album, Good morning Revival which was 100 percent pop). And don't even get me started on the auto tune. GC, you guys gotta go back to the way your albums used to be
  • Where would we be without all you haters?

You haters are silly. I clicked on a few of you to see what kind of music you think is "true rock", and I come across "Five stars for Happy Feet!" Yikes. You have fun with that. Me and the rest of the fans here are just gonna keep on jammin' out to Good Charlotte's good 'ol rock music.
  • Very well done...

You know I was one of those ppl who bought this album simply for "I Just Wanna Live", and at first, that was the only song I liked. But now, after listening to all of the songs, I've found that they are all quality songs and there are a few songs that you could say are GC's best. Top notch album, well written, I love it, and anyone who gives it a chance will love it too. Best songs: S.O.S, The World Is Black, Meet My Maker, I Just Wanna Live, We Believe, and Mountain
  • By Far the Most Powerful GC Album yet...

Almost all of these songs from "Chronicles Of Life & Death" are brutally honest. They're really true to our lives too!! Joel and Benji are doing a great job on their performance. When it comes to corruption & money, our lives will be in jeopardy. "We Believe" is one of the great examples of what exactly is happening to America and the world right now. The economy goes down the toilet; the police state (or even martial law) is on the rise; poverty wreaks havoc; the cost of living go up; our right to own property is essentially gone; taxes go up; crime rates also; financial privacy is gone, and we're losing our civil liberties. We have pray to to fight for our freedom. We The People have all the power.
  • I love this, but where is the bonus???

I bought the other version. and not including the intro, there was only 1 song i disliked. I especially liked the bonus track, Meet My Maker. That made me wonder, would i like the bonus on the other version? So I searched for it on iTunes. It wasn't there. WHERE IS THE BONUS TRACK??? SOMEBODY TELL ME!!! I know there is one, so why isn't it here? iTunes had Meet My Maker, so why doesn't it have this one?
  • dont listen to the haters of this album! this is an amazing cd!

this album has been so critsized for its change up in styles. the album previous to this ("the young and the hopeless") sported a pop-punk sound that won over millions of fans. while this album featured orchestra backround music, and more synth. this album also revealed a much darker side of the band than the previous albums did. it seems that between albums good charlotte went from a band protesting bullies and making stabs at the lifestyles of the wealthy to crying out about the pains of the world. good charlottes music has matured i admit. but i do like this album just as well as the old ones. its just a different style that some hardcore good charlotte fans have had trouble adjusting too. this is an amazing cd with songs that let me do something that other good charlotte albums never have. *drumroll please* headbangers!!! yes thats right =p. good charlotte may have thrown a change-up with this new album, but this music is still some of the best out there!
  • Not your best work Good Charlotte.

The only songs I like are Predictable and I Just Wanna Live. Also why does Good Charlotte say "wanna" not "want". lol
