Just amazing! He is putting all the songs that he is singing into mainstream and having people discover country songs even more because of his renditions. I have bought every song that he has recorded so far and will continue to buy anything that he records because you can hear the passion and the connection with everything that he sings. More power to you and the sky is the limit for you at this point.

The live performance was incredible because it was more of just him, the piano ... this version is over produced, the mix is off because the music frowns out the quality of his vocal. C’mon Voive & Blake, make these recordings match the beauty of the original performance. Derek DON’T LET THEM OVER PRODUCE THESE RECORDINGS!

KIRK JAY IS AWSOME..

I LOVE this song and I especially loved Kirk Jay's rendition of the song. However, this is NOT the version that was on The Voice. One of the main reasons I wanted to buy this song was becuase he dedicated this song to his mama and during the song (at the 1:44 mark duing his performance on The Voice) he sings 'mama' and it is SO beautifully done and really makes this song his own. I just downloaded this song and paid $1.29 for the privledge only to find out that they deleted 'mama' from the origianl version he did!! Again, I love his voice and I think he has an amazing gift but I wanted the version he sang on The Voice not this standard version.

Kirk Jay is OK, but honestly the country artists go way too far in this show!

Kirk Jay , Number one best voice I have ever heard in my life . Being that I am a Shania , dolly , Dixie chick , rascal flats, Tim Mcraw fan it is hard to measure up to people like them . I teach early head start and play Kirk jays performances in class when the children are getting to rowdy they calm right down and sway back and forth to his beautiful angelic country soulful voice and I couldn’t be more proud to watch him continue on the voice I am a big fan of the show but have never wanted anyone to win as bad as I want this for Kirk he deserves the title and everything else to peruse his dreams he’s got a god given talent and needs to share it with the whole world !
